Inked by Blinc
March 1, 2024It’s time to incorporate and here comes the million dollar question: how much does it cost?
Today we will be discussing the fees associated with incorporating your business Federally and in Ontario provincially. This will allow you to do business all over Canada, but headquartered in Ontario. For information on other provinces you want to incorporate in, visit your respective province’s website here.
For Federal & Ontario incorporations, there are 2 main fees associated with your initial incorporation setup:
This fee is the basic, mandatory fee that the government charges for anyone, including Blinc, to incorporate a company. Whether or not you choose Blinc as your incorporator, this is the minimum fee you must pay in order to incorporate Federally and in Ontario provincially.
Previously this fee was $13, however now the government included as part of the federal incorporation fee. This was a recent change, so if you remember paying this in the past, fret no more.
