What is it?

The federal corporation key is a password allowing you to complete your annual return and individuals with significant control information for corporations under the CBCA.

Why do we need it?

Our Starter and Compliance plans cover your annual return and filings for individuals with significant control.

To file on your behalf, we require access to your corporation key. Rest assured, Blinc maintains the utmost confidentiality and security for all your corporate information on our platform.

Where can I find it?

On the “Corporate Information Sheet” sent by email on your date of incorporation.

Typically the file may be called “Information-Sheet-Fiche-de-renseignements” or “Corporation Information Sheet”.  See example below.

If you lost it and require a new one, you may request a new one through the Government of Canada website here.
